Funded birth support for indigenous families
Luna Dea has recently been selected for the CIP (community investment project) grant from the Reginal Municipality of Woodbuffalo. We are excited to share that we will be offering the use of the birthing center free of charge for all indigenous families within the region.
Why birth out of hospital?
Birthing outside of a traditional hospital setting, particularly in culturally supportive birthing centers, can offer numerous benefits for indigenous families. These benefits intertwine with the preservation of cultural practices, the promotion of physiological birth and the overall well-being of both mother and child.
